The concert was awesome! I had a dinner of Starbucks caramel brulle latte on the way to the event (hey- I NEEDED the caffeine) and a bottle of water. I took the "fancy" causeway over to A1A to coast down to South Beach. This is the road into Bal Harbor just south of where we used to live.
It was a relaxing site to see on the way to the concert.
I found some students when I got there. We walked the red carpet and made model faces. Don't worry- they all have signed media release forms...
We had to wait in the choir room starting at 6:30! The show didn't start until 8:00. We went last... which put us onstage at 9:45. You do the math....
6 adults + 100 2nd-8th graders for 3 and a HALF hours in a choir room=EXHAUSTION!!
The kids were STUNNING! Matt, Tommy, and Sally had a great time. We got home around 11:30 and I needed to have a glass of wine unwind before I could even consider going to bed. :-)
Today we are off to the races!! NASCAR here we come!! Bug shout out to Aunt Mary for the detailed email filling me in on all things NASCAR. I will boo at all of the right times. :-) We will take lots of pictures!!
Have a happy Sunday! Oh- Mom- I'm SO proud of you!! Your performance was AWESOME at the game (she twirled on her birthday yesterday). If you have facebook you should check her out!!
