Yesterday morning I went out for a run. As I turned to lock (I lie, I had gone back to check if I had already locked the door three times by then- *hangs head in OCD shame*) the door I noticed something off, literally!
Yet another ginormous palm frond on the yard!
I moved it over to the car so you could see just how huge this thing is. I started to drag it into the garage but decided to leave it out where Matt could see it. Nothing says, "Welcome home!" like a giant palm frond in your front yard.

hopefully you can infer that I'm talking about the palm in the back. . .
It looks like all of the big, old fronds are down. I hope so! There is no way that we will be able to cut them up and fit them plus our own trash in the green can. With trash coming twice a week plus the size of these palms . . . any guesses on how long these, or parts of these, will be in our garage?

On a food note, I want to thank Sally for suggesting pineapple on the grill. . .
